Raising Attainment, Accelerating Progress

I have come in order that you might have life - life in all its fullness John10:10

Improve the Quality of Teaching and Pupils achievement.

1       To improve the use of assessment to ensure that the learning matches the needs of ALL pupils

  1. Ensuring that all pupils consistently receive high levels of challenge giving each individual dignity
  2. Increasing the numbers of pupils achieving the expected and higher levels of attainment in end of year and national tests
  3. Making better use of information about pupils achievement to inform planning and teaching
  4. Ensure pupils are developing higher order language skills through quality provision, in speaking and listening, reading and writing

To ensure excellent behaviour leads to high engagement in learning and improving outcomes

2      To ensure that ALL pupils are engaged in their learning

  1. Behaviour for learning is motivated by respect for self and others, self-worth leading to making sound decisions for life (RSE) (SEMH) building equality and diversity
  2. Positive focus on SMSC, including Christian distinctiveness, leads to pupils strengths and talents being developed leading to high performing individuals
  3. To increase well-being through increasing stamina physically and for learning

 

Leadership and Management

  1.  To create leadership at ALL levels that is highly effective in improving pupil achievement
    1.  To create hope through an aspirational culture through vision and values
    2.  To ensure a strong safeguarding culture supported by processes and procedures
    3.  To improve attendance, including persistent absence, and punctuality to be at least in line with national
    4.  Leadership at all levels to drive improvement of an immersive, broad and rich curriculum, matched to the needs of our pupils.
