Yapton CE Primary School

The Friends of Yapton School “FOYS” are a charitable group established to help and resource our school to provide facilities that the school would not be able to afford.

Over the years, many parents have committed time to the Committee to facilitate FOYS activities and many more have multiplied this effort by helping out at Fairs, Discos and other events.

There are lots of ways that you can help and we welcome any support that you are willing to offer. Your business may be able to offer raffle prizes or you may like to help run a stall at the fayres. Perhaps you have a talent that you could pass on to others.

Together, we achieve more for our children...

We always welcome new faces to our meetings, so please check the school’s website diary for meeting dates (see NEWS – Diary dates) or LIKE our Facebook page (, or check our monthly newsletter (on school’s website).

In 2015 FOYS have purchased resources for classrooms such as "Talking Tins" and Reception class scooters. We have also donated a mini i-Pad to each class to enhance the teaching and learning.

Throughout the years FOYS have organised a variety of fundraising events such as...:

Afternoon Tea

Summer Fete

Christmas Fayre

Secret Santa presents

Book Week sale and so many more...

We recently acquired a Cinema Licence, which enables us to offer after school film nights!

You can help us to fundraise by shopping online for FOYS:

Yellow Moon - using the source code SYA1033

You can order your child’s uniform using the embroidery service via Tesco

Buy the book-bags and hats from the office

In May and October, we collect old clothes and raise money with bag2school
